There are 84 full-page numbered plates (all present), printed one side only, of biblical scenes (image size approx. 35.5 cm x 21.6 cm), a page of text explaining each plate, a frontispiece of Richard Blome, six fold-out plates of copies of cartoons by Raphael, and a full-page preliminary plate. Internally fairly clean: there is just a little foxing to the pages; the frontispiece, the preliminary plate and five other plates have moisture staining affecting a small area of the image. The fore edge has been trimmed, probably during rebinding, with a little loss only to the edge of the frontispiece image. One of the Raphael plates has been spliced together and is missing approx. a 5 cm vertical strip in the middle of the image. There are no maps in this volume.
